How Our Contactless Local Delivery Service Works

Only by providing a truly contactless delivery service can we ensure the wellbeing and safety of our customers and staff.
At the moment we are only able to provide a local delivery service of about 20 miles from our shop.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ENTER THE CORRECT DELIVERY ADDRESS AT THE ONLINE CHECKOUT.

Shipment of items further than 20 miles will require special shipment arrangements which we are happy to discuss with you on a case by case basis.

If you need us to come out further than this distance, please call us directly rather than using the online store, as all orders are screened for their delivery radius, and your order may be cancelled, and refunded to your payment card, if the proposed delivery address exceeds our furthest delivery point.

Ordering

When ordering online or over the phone you’ll be given a customer order reference number.
Which is your unique reference to quote if you have any subsequent queries.

Small deliveries of a single or just a few items may take significantly longer to deliver, this is because we have to accumulate sufficient volume to make up a particular route.

However, for the majority of orders we hope to have them with you within 7 days.

Social Distancing

You’ll appreciate that with the current biosecurity advisory in place we are unable to deliver inside your premises, so all deliveries will be placed outside your gate, or just inside if you leave your gate open.

We’ll notify you before our arrival and/or after we’ve delivered you order.

You should not attempt to communicate with our driver by any other means than either via the phone or from a distance of greater than
2x metres (6ft).

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES can we deliver anything to the inside of a customer’s home, even if asked to do so.

Our driver has specifically been instructed
NOT TO TOUCH doorbells, door knockers, gates, doors or hand rails or any surface other than the floor of the customer’s front garden or main entrance.

Items CANNOT be put into delivery lock boxes, or anything that has to be touched to be opened.

Sensible Precautions

We want you to enjoy your products.
So here are some useful hints and tips on how to do this safely:-

  1. Once you have received your products, like any other delivery at the moment, it’s advisable to spray or wipe down any hard or semi-hard surfaces like pots or packaging, with a suitable household sanitiser, if you intend to handle them soon after they’ve arrived.

  2. Living plant material like leaves, stems and flowers can take MILD detergent or soap washing and spraying, however using alcohol or other chemical sanitiser sprays may have a detrimental impact on the health of your plants. It may be just simpler, not to touch your plants at all for at least 72hrs after delivery, but remembering to cover them if they are tender or not hardy, until the risk of frost has passed.

  3. ALWAYS Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds (the longer the better) after you have been handling ANY type of delivered products.

  4. Feel free to call us if you need to, you know we are more than happy to help where we can.
